I totally loved the kit this month. I only got the main kit this time. I was going to purchase the first add-on and really only because of the polka-dot stamp but I decided that it may be in the shop next month so I'll wait and see. I loved the October Afternoon Seaside paper that came in the kit. It is that "planked wood" paper that I was completely drawn to. I find that if there is a paper that I really love, I will have to cut it and use it in pieces whether I make an 8.5x11 layout or just in various bits but I have to use it more than once. I broke out my ek success large circle punch again. I am in love with it, a little bling and butterflies.
I started this with angles on the pattern paper and I just kept the same flow with my journaling. The polaroid stamp is a must have. I love it.
I channeled my inner artistic self on this layout. I did some sewing which I'm finally learning how to do and I used my ever so faithful ek success circle punch on this layout. I also used some of my new paint daubers on this layout along with some studio calico mr. huey mists. I'm beginning to fall in love them. I love this process of scrapping because it's the freedom to just be creative without the barriers of having clean lines and perfect placement. I may begin doing more layouts like this. I've been extremely inspired by them lately.
