It's that time again in my home where Aniyah is back to school and my 2nd grader couldn't be more excited. She's fighting allergies and a cough this week but I'm praying I can nurse her back to health without seeing the doc. I took these photos of her after school and as usual, she didn't really want to cooperate.
On a different note, I've been cleaning and getting rid of boxes in my garage that were just cluttering my space and I just couldn't take the clutter any longer. Along with cleaning that up, I am working on re-docorating my home and I've been a pinterest queen lately. I've moved my craft space to now take over the breakfast area . I just felt like I needed to have the natural lighting and a connection to our family area. The challenge with being a renter is that you know you won't always be in the same place forever so that presents very many challenges because you can't be too specific in customizing. The scale of your room may accommodate the pieces you have now but when you move, it may not be so accommodating.
What I'm discovering is to utilize colors and pieces that can transition it time.
The challenge to renting is that you don't know where you are moving to next so it's hard to "customize" windows and treatments and furniture b/c you don't know if the next place will accommodate
